It is one of the biggest parks in our area and an ideal space for Australian wildlife and wetlands with good fully paved trails to walk, making pushing a stroller easy. There are plenty of beautiful spots for photography around the lake. The open sunlit areas allow for warm and beautifully lit photos, and the colours are perfect for all seasons!

The garden is relatively small but a peaceful and relaxing place with a wide variety of native Australian plants. It is easily accessible, kids friendly (a great place to explore) and has plenty of different locations for photography.

It is relatively small but one of the most beautiful gardens in the area. Brilliant all year round and highly recommended for photography during all seasons.

We recommend avoiding getting close to the playground if you have small kids during the photography session :)

Fitzroy Gardens are stunning all year around. It is well maintained, with many different plants, trees and beautiful flowers. The expansive grassy areas are suitable for picnics, working out, and chilling out. An extensive network of pathways is ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels. The garden is highly recommended for family portraits, engagements photography and even wedding photography if you are planning a small wedding ceremony.

A clean and beautiful beach located just next to the bathing boxes will add colours to your photos. It has a beautiful view of Melbourne city that can be used as a backdrop. Kids will love it since there are many places to explore, and the southern part of the beach is dog-friendly.

The pier is well known for the sunset shots, and lots of the local photographers put it on the list for their wedding or engagement photoshoots. It starts at the small beach that kids will love and is next to the Bay Trail, leading you to a dog-friendly Brighton Foreshore Reserve.

Sandringham Beach is one of our favourites in the area. It is excellent for family and engagement photo sessions. There are many different spots for photography, such as sand, rocks, a cliff with native bushes and even a green slop with grass to sit and relax or watch the sunset. It is easily accessible from Beach Road and has coastal walk trails with lovely views and many restaurants to complement the experience.

Point Ormond Lookout is blessed with beautiful views across Port Phillip Bay and Melbourne's city. With green slopes, it is excellent for photography sessions during the sunset in particular. You can also jump to Elwood Beach down the hill to combine the photographic experience with photos on the sand and in the water.
